About Us
The Virginia Undergraduate Business Review (VUBR) is a student-run publication that bridges student perspectives with the global business landscape. We are committed to fostering insightful discussions on current events in commerce, engaging students by connecting university-level developments to the broader economy.

Our Story
Founded in January 2024 by Arden Luthy and Vaishnavi Punaji, the Virginia Undergraduate Business Review (VUBR) emerged from a shared recognition of a gap in the CIO landscape: a lack of accessible, engaging business news for students. While traditional news sources often feel heavy with jargon and disconnected from students’ lives, VUBR bridges this gap, making business journalism relevant and digestible.

VUBR is designed to distill complex news into insights students can readily engage with, fostering critical dialogue and empowering them to leave university with a stronger grasp of current events and a readiness to navigate and analyze the business world.
